Couples and Relationship Counseling

Couples treatment is useful whenever one or both partners are unhappy in the relationship. This therapy provides practical action-oriented steps in a safe and nurturing environment to improve the couple's communication and satisfaction in the relationship.

Both Haverford and Media offices are Licensed Mars & Venus Counseling Centers. The Mars & Venus Approach helps a couple's love grow by acknowledging and honoring their gender based differences. These differences include :

The approach teaches tools to communicate more effectively even during difficult times. Dr Schwarz and Helen Struckmann have both been personally trained by John Gray, author of Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus .
